Crazy Kids!!
Kids say the craziest things!! That sounds so cliche, but oh my goodness - so TRUE! The other day in the car on the way to my doctor's office for a blood draw - the girls started talking about the baby! B wanted to know that after I had my blood out if we could go and get the baby out too. I told her it was still too early! Then they started talking about if they would like a brother or a sister. A would like a little girl with lots of hair named 'baby.' B then chimed in and she wants a little brother, named 'baby' - but of course, the arguement began. Sister, Brother, Sister, Brother . . . . and then B came up with a brilliant idea, she said, I think we should get a "mix." A mix?? Yup - that is what she said. So I just told her that doesn't really work too well. And they were quiet and thinking about that for a little while and forgot that they were fighting!! Good!!
So today I am cleaning a little bit and now I am just waiting for the floors to dry to I can finish my list . . . laundry, vaccuum and clean the kitchen and pantry. Then I need to decide what to make for Christmas dinner and go to the grocery store!! Today I might just need to rent one of the video carts at Publix. That way the girls can sit inside the cart and watch Bob the Builder while I get all the groceries that I need! It costs a dollar, but the girls just sit in their seats and watch television and not get bored!!! I know, using the tv to keep the kids occupied sounds like bad - but at this time of year when I want to get in and out of the supermarket as quickly as possibe - it might just be a special treat for A and B!!
