Another Reason I blog . . .

To share fun things with my friends!! I had the ribbon!! Kelli's post about Barbie's brought this song back into my head, and of course, trusty YouTube has it for us all to watch!! I guess next time I am at the gym, I should start singing this on the treadmill!!!!

Why do I blog?

I love keeping in contact with you all!! It is so much fun for me to see pics of your kids and hear about what you are all doing and thinking. I just hope that I manage to do that for you all too!! And so for the crazy part . . . pics of my house today.

The girls are lucky to have 3 Great Grandmothers still alive! Here they are with two of them! They are both 87 years old and still get around like champs!

My mom took my skates and whipped around the rink a couple times!! She could still skate even though she hadn't been on the ice in about, oh, 20 years or so!!! Go mom!!

That darn Easter Bunny . . .

is causing me fits! I need more time to get ready for Easter. But I thought this was interesting . . .

Have you realized how early Easter is this year?

As you may have heard, Easter is always the 1st Sunday after the
1st full moon after the Spring Equinox (which is March 20).
This dating of Easter is based on the lunar calendar that Hebrew people
used to identify passover, which is why it moves around on our Roman
calendar.

Based on the above, Easter can actually be one day
earlier (March 22) but that is pretty rare.

Here's the interesting info.

This year is the earliest Easter any of us will ever see the
rest of our lives!
And only the most elderly of our population have
ever seen it this early (95 years old or above!).
And none of us have ever, or will ever, see it a day earlier!

Here are the facts:

1) The next time Easter will be this early(March 23)
will be the year 2228 (220 years from now).
The last time it was this early was 1913 (so if you're 95 or
older, you are the only ones that were around for that!).

2) The next time it will be a day earlier, March
22, will be in the year 2285 (277 years from now).
The last time it was on March 22 was 1818.
So, no one alive today has or will ever see it any earlier
than this year!

B's Ice Skating Comp!!!

Here is Baby B's Competition!! She did a fantastic job and got 4th out of 6! There were no coaches allowed on the ice this time, so B skated alone and watched her coach standing in the door!! (And as a proud mother, I must let you know that the 3 girls in front of her all take 3 private lessons a week . . . B takes one, for 15 minutes!! So . . . it made me proud that she did so well!! Skating mom talking here!!) But this is the last comp. until August! It will be a nice break from the skating mother's mayhem!!


Haven't had a chance to take the red eye out, but I thought you might enjoy this one too!! After the comp. we all went to the John's Creek City Easter Egg Hunt, which was CRAZY! But that is a story for another time!

I am still alive, and SUPER BUSY!! When life slows down for a few seconds, I will post some pics and an update. My mom and my granny are coming tomorrow, Dh's parents and Grandma are coming on Saturday too. Then B has her skating competition this weekend . . . so pics, videos and lots of my blah blah blah to come!!
