My mom calls it Moe - as in 1moe!

Thought you all might like to see this . . . . okay, so it looks like an oddly shaped bean, but here is 'C' at 8 weeks. The head is still really big, there are arm, leg buds and a tail still. Kinda wierd really. BUT only ONE! So keep praying that everything goes well!!

Links . . .

Well, I have not done links for a long time!!

Here are a few for you!! What will keep your Jack O'Lantern freshest?

Some fun Halloween Candies - who wants to make these? I think I would just order them!

Check out the Krispy Kreme Pumpkin shaped donuts?

7-11 Bans Cocaine??
Aaah, good onle 7-11, if only we had them in Georgia!

And this one was just a beautiful read
, I think that all dads with daughters should be REQUIRED to read this link. It is amazing to read about all the things that dads do/did with their daughters, just the little things that make a huge impact.

Just felt like Chatting!

Well, my Mom and Joe left this morning - and we were all sad to see them go :( But it was really fun having them here and the girls loved spending time with their Granny. Now it is a rainy, cold day and we have stayed inside watching movies all afternoon. We started with an exciting Chip and Dale DVD and now we are watching The Little Mermaid. I slept through the first one but since I have not seen the Mermaid for awhile I am watching it with them. They really like this movie but everytime the SeaWitch comes on they start whimpering and asking me to fast forward. I know she is ugly and mean, but Ariel wouldn't have had the chance to meet Prince Eric if it wasn't for her!! Just kidding I don't like the SeaWitch either.

I am looking forward to sleeping this weekend. This first trimester stuff is hard - and strange b/c the one thing I remember about being pregnant was being SOOOOO big. But now I just have to trust that everything is still growing, without doing kick counts and having an ultrasound every other day. Don't get me wrong, I am glad not to be considered high risk, but I sure loved the monitoring that we got with A and B!!

I hope you all have a great weekend!! We will be fixing/washing the girls Halloween costumes, since they wore them to a party with a chocolate fountain last weekend. Need I say more?? So if you have any chocolate removing tricks let me know or else Snow White and Princess Hello Kitty will have large brown dribbles down the front of their 'gowns.' LOL

Did someone say BEAMER BALL?

FINALLY, I saw some Beamer Ball on TV last night!! Go Hokies!! If only we had managed to play like this all season, we might actually be ranked still! AND I WANT THE HOKIE WAFFLE IRON that they showed on the broadcast tonight!! It might just be a dining hall thing, but for those of you readers (Kelli) that live in VA - if you see a VA TECH waffle iron, I WANT IT!!

Anyway, back to the WIN!! 3 things that I think worked for us tonight:

1. They took away the lunchbox. I think the defense was so horrified that they didn't deserve it they fought back. They had Lee Suggs came back along with other alumni to 'talk' to them!!

2. They made them hold hands in the huddle! What a great form of creative discipline!! I can hear the coaches now, "You will hold hands until you learn to play together!" (Of course I have taken out the words that shouldn't be written here!!)
3. We were the underdogs. We thrive this way.

GO BRANDON ORE!! Go BEAMER!! GO BUD FOSTER!!

This is my GROSS observation from the last few weeks:
My top two foods that come up (with morning/evening sickness) as well as they go down:
1. Strawberry Poptarts
2. Guacamole (even though it is green)

Have a good night - We are enjoying a HOKIE win!!

A Quick Sneaky Guest Blog...

Totally laughed out loud when I saw this because I immediately thought of Karen :) BTW I guess this will not be true now that "C" is on the way :) (Get it...A, B and now C :)...sometimes i crack myself up) so without further ado.....

Is That an Ant Farm??

No, that is not an ant farm, we are pregnant!! That might explain why I have been so tired and not able to DO ANYTHING lately!! I also have not been able to talk on the phone b/c I just too afraid to blurt out the news!!
We had an ultrasound today and are measuring 8 weeks - so we are still early, but we did get to see how many are in there . . . . . . . there are . . . . . . do you really want to know how many there are . . . . no, I don't think you do but just in case . . . just ONE!! Yup, me with a singleton - seems strange! But we saw the heartbeat and measured the growth compared to the ultrasound that we had two weeks ago. (They call me a special patient so I get to have special ultrasounds!! Too fun!) And it all looked good so far!
My mom, of course, figured out within a couple of hours that I was pregnant, and if she hadn't she would have after I puked up a few meals - my morning/afternoon/night sickness has been horrible! (Talk about a weight loss program!!)
Well, that is all the news from here and I couldn't help myself but to blog it because of Kelli's ant farm post when I thought she was pregnant!! So have a good night, I will try to keep down my dinner! Talk to you all soon!! K out!

Happy Birthday to the Girls!!!!!!

Hello all! I'm guest bloggin' cuz I know Karen is super busy and her mom is in town, whom she hasn't seen in like forever so she's getting the love from Mom and the girls are CERTAINLY feeling the love from Granny Wendy (which by the way is the coolest Grandma name EVA!!!!!!!)

I know it's a day late(with the whole birthday wishes), but I'm hoping to make up for it by my cool layout I did for Karen last night and the cool present that is in the mail! So cool. I figure Karen is so going to kill me but Jeremy and the girls will truly enjoy.

So anyhoo, I've been working on something for Karen since their trip to Hilton Head last month and just now got the pictures and the time to sit down and hash it out. I love these pictures! Karen really has an eye and the one of Jer and the girls is by far my favorite. I may blow that one up and make it on a page all by itself... Without further ado, here is Karen's Layout, I put it in the girls' present box! Enjoy :)

OUCH!

The process of being a Hokie Fan is oftentimes painful. That's all I have to say about that. (And that I copied and pasted this from Annette's blog. But it seemed so appropriate for this occasion.)

I have a Georgia State Mother's of Multiples meeting this weekend. A ToysRUs night on Monday, where all the twins club members get 25% off their entire purchase and they close the store for us!! (YEAH - not that we need any toys - but fun to run around TRUS when it is closed!)

My mom and Joe are coming on Friday for the girls birthday on Saturday - and she is bringing the dollhouse that she has made for them. She has worked really hard on this house, wallpaper, hardwood floors, electricity - and she is giving it to 4 year olds. I really am just waiting for disaster. But, luckily, Grandkids can do no wrong - but I better not break it!! She and Joe will be here for the entire week after that - and I am looking forward to spending time with my mom - I haven't seen her since June, so I am looking forward to seeing them.

So from Atlanta, I am out of here - talk to you all later, Karen

Extreme Drive Thru at McDonalds

"We were bored, so we decided to write a song and perform it through the drive thru at a local McDonald's. More coming soon. If you don't like this, you don't have a soul."
I know I promised no more videos - but I almost peed in pants! And nothing is going on here right now - so I really have no updates for you all! I hope you enjoy this as much as I did! K

Free Hugs Campaign. Inspiring Story! (music by sick puppies)

I promise, this will be my last YouTube for a little while. But this is at first a little strange. I mean, would you hug this man on the street with his free hug sign? That was my initial question, but after watching the whole video, I was ready to go out and give my free hugs!! So watch it and let me know - Free hugs or No Hugs?!

MARCEL STURMER - Figure Skating

Well, I know that you all have been roller skating before, so why not try this?? I personally, cannot imaging doing this with wheels rather than blades, but he really is a fantastic jumper. I just have a hard time taking him seriously since he is perfoming in a high school gym, but hey, it is cheaper than ice!!
